Test Positive for Covid - Get sent home with No Treatment

My kid and fiance went to urgent care and tested positive for Covid.
Apparently they want to spread the disease or its not really a concern because they were sent home with no treatment.
Any talk of masking, lock downs is total bullshite.
One had the Vaccine and the other is not vaccinated.

Why are y’all getting tested? I mean treat the sickness like a cold or flu and keep moving. No need to boost the Democrats numbers.

Yeah there’s not really a “treatment” for it. Just fever management and fluids. Only really need intervention if pulse ox drops.

Do you have severe symptoms? If you only have mild symptoms what treatment would you like to have other than basic symptom management?

If you can breath, go home and rest, get fluids and treat fever. Just like any other viral respiratory infection.

Rest, fluids, Tylenol for aches (not Advil). There's no treatment for COVID unless you have serious side effects.

There are mulitiple treatments available but apparently some doctors care and will prescribe a treatment. Then some doctors don't care for their patient because they have an agenda or they think its no big deal.

Yep my twelve year old had it last year same thing. Also he literally only ran fever for 12 hours. Had it not been for Covid he would have returned to school after 24 hours fever free. But because of muhh Covid had to stay home for 10 days

May depend on their place of work. Ours, if you are symptomatic, can’t return until you have a negative test even if you’re vaccinated.

It’s true that there’s no FDA approved treatment (because if there was, the vaccines wouldn’t be eligible for emergency use authorization). But evidence out of other countries indicates that there does seem to be a viable, substantial treatment available (see Mexico and India for example)

Yeah, that's been the standard all along. There isn't much that can be done for a virus with mild symptoms other than treat the symptoms with OTC stuff.
