The wife and I both work full time and the kids are with their grandparents during the day when not in school.

Not sure how old the kids are, but trust me you may come to regret the frick out this one day!!!

Hindsight being 20/20 this was one of my worst decisions ever related to raising my kids. As much as grandparents love their grandchildren they (at least my ex in-laws were) horrible at setting boundaries for the little ones and spoil them (which they’re supposed to do). I countered it as best I could, but had huge difficulty trying to overcome them when it was reinforced by my ex.

Frankly, I’m glad to be divorced from her and that situation so that I can try resetting the rules/boundaries when they’re with me.
