That’s another discussion. The mass incarceration crowd are largely directing their attention to non violent crimes like drugs. Virtually everyone agrees prison for life for someone who murders a gas station clerk for no reason. I personally think death by any means is appropriate.

A Lee County MS jury will give him a death sentence with quickness. If his lawyer can talk him into pleading guilty to avoid the death penalty. He will die in Parchman Prison after serving a life sentence without parole.

North MS isn’t Jackson, MS, New Orleans, Chicago, or St Louis.
The BEST this perp can hope for is an offer for a plea to Life in prison. Even then he is going to have to give up some info on his drug running buddies.
