I got so scared in the winter storm last year that I was going to lose all my Best Stop Andouille that I cooked it all. That was the biggest batch of gumbo I’ve ever made. It was glorious.

We lost power for 4 days and had to throw most of the fridge out. Honestly, I probably could have put it outside to keep it frozen, but I was drunk and not thinking clearly since my wife was freaking out.

It’s amazing how many let food spoil in the middle of a winter storm when all they have to do is put stuff outside to freeze
