I lived in St Louis for 3 years. That baggage claim at the airport might be among the worst in the world.

It will take you at least 45 minutes to get your luggage from the point you show up.

Why are they lined up outside? Is the airport not big enough to handle a crowd?

Right. Most airports have switchbacks inside at TSA.

Flown out of there a few times, never seen it like that. That said, it's not a great airport.

It’s a 4 hour wait, you think there just aren’t any people standing inside?

Never seen the lines outside but I once had to fly early am out of Cleveland and all TSA lines were wrapped around inside the building to the doors.

Seems there was a huge 7th Dat Adventist conference in town.

So not a normal thing

I’d be okay with abolishing the TSA and just taking our chances with terrorist attacks to be honest.

Also, checked bags should be free and travelers should be charged for carry-ons.

For some of them, it probably would have been faster to just rent a car and drive home or to another airport.

Allegedly they have gotta much better. I was blown away how shitty that experience was. Figure that much business through there would have changed that.

Is that the SW terminal? It's been 5 years since I've been there but used to fly in 5 or 6 times per year but mostly on Delta or American.

Not my favorite airport.

I had a small suitcase that fit overhead and a briefcase for under foot when I travels there a few months ago.

I try not to have checked baggage.
