Kansas or North Dakota

I've been to Montana before. Yellowstone was great. I also saw some mining towns, which were decent but not fantastic.
South Dakota might be toward the top of my list if it weren't for Mount Rushmore. I guess some other parts of the Black Hills might be okay to see.
I haven't been to Wyoming before except maybe briefly going across the border when I was at Yellowstone. However, when I was in Colorado there were a whole bunch of ads for rodeo and cowboy related activities in Wyoming. It seemed like it might be decent although I didn't go to it. Wyoming also has some mountains.
While Wyoming really is not someplace I'd have the slightest interest in spending money to travel to, I think it's better than the North Dakotas of the world.

All the midwestern states sans Illinois I guess (Chicago being the reason)
Unless I got a deer tag, I aint got a single reason to enter Kansas or Iowa etc
Mississippi would be #1 if I was allowed to say a state I have already been to

Honestly, I plan on visiting... at least all the great 48 states.. The Dakota's might be the states that don't excite me to go visit, but if I had to list the states I haven't been to starting with the ones I most want to visit... North & South Dakota would be 2nd to last and last.

If it wasn't so close Mississippi would win this by a landslide
Louisiana has better fishing and food, Bama has better beaches, and TN has prettier landscape
All its bordering states does everything it can do better
There is honestly no fricking reason to visit MS

Kansas
I lived in Iowa and therefore spent some time in eastern Nebraska. Omaha or a football game in Lincoln can be good times.
I have no idea what I would ever go to Kansas to do or see...

You're allowed to say a state you've already been to.
With that being said, I would question why you've been to a state if you find it so uninteresting to visit. Unless you were driving through the state en rout to somewhere else. Or alternately you were a child or teen at the time and your parents forced you to go.

Only for forced conferences and sporting events
Like I said, I cant think of a reason one would chose to visit MS besides just to check it off the bucket list

Idaho's better than you think if you like mountains.
Sawtooth Mountains
But if you are a mountain person, how many states come ahead of it? There wasn’t much that came to mind where I’d put Idaho in the top couple options, and nothing really signature that would bring me there specifically

There's nothing that would bring me to Idaho either. But it's better than a place like North Dakota or Kansas that I'd refuse to go to if the airplane trip, rental car, gasoline and lodging were all free.

Connecticut. I mean really, why bother?

I liked DC a lot when I've visited in 2008. Washington Monument, White House, Supreme Court, the Capitol. I even saw a Senate meeting.

I can’t believe there are so many Dakota answers. You swamp rats don’t like sheer brutal towering nature?

After having driven across the state of Kansas, it gets my vote.

A few but it’s still a good state for people who enjoy the outdoors. It’s not as boring as it seems. You just have to like what it has to offer.
Florida is a great state with a lot to do, but if you live for skiing it’s not for you. California is the only state I believe truly has something for everyone. Some people hate the thought of visiting cities like LA and SF - and that’s understandable to some extent - but if a person can’t find something worthwhile to do between Yosemite, the Pacific Coast Highway, numerous theme parks, Redwood and Sequoia National Park, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Lake Tahoe, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, numerous sports teams, San Diego Zoo, fishing / boating, etc., probably is either boring or an a-hole.

California.....Because I prefer to live in 'Merica and not some weird foreign country with there own sets of rules.
