St Tammany has become disgusting

Anyone notice the abundance of trash on the sides of I12 lately? I started noticing this the other day, and my initial thought was this has to be someone losing a pile of junk from the bed of his truck. Nope. I've been paying attention ever since, and it is literally up and down I12 from Madisonville to Slidell. It's not just a piece here or there either; it's as if someone took a 1000 gallon trashcan, held it out the side of their vehicle and drove 30 miles both ways letting it pour out. I even saw 2 trash bags at two different spots busted on the side. There's also a kids battery powered jeep near Lacombe if anyone is interested.
What the hell are these politicians doing? Send the chaingang out there and start cleaning this shite up! This isn't San Francisco, you assholes. Do your damn job

What does everyone wait for the politicians to do something? Yeah that's their job, but they are not doing shite unless it benefits them.
I think there are some people who just throw shite out the window without even thinking about it. I think doing a campaign blitz to put it in people's minds, that would make some people think twice.
Then each parish should coordinate efforts to clean shite on a regular basis. And its not just St. Tammany. Its a problem throughout the whole dame state.

America is an absolute shite show. Imagine if you had a friend from Japan or Denmark or Portugal. Would you be proud to show them around America like you would have been in 1995 or 2000? It just has the overwhelming aura of DECLINE.

Agreed. My wife just started working as a substitute in the elementary schools and it has been an eye opening experience. Lots and lots of disfunction.

Not sure who has the responsibility of keeping that clean, but regardless, there is whatever labor shortage going on I keep hearing about.
Also regardless, you’re right. It’s trashy. People need to move out and stop moving in.
