123I know that there are lots of animal lovers in the OT Lounge, with dogs being especially popular.
That said, let me take a big risk by asking this: Do you find it annoying when your spouse makes conversation with pets? My wife (no pics) makes a habit of chatting with our cat regularly, and sometimes uses voices.
It gets to be a bit much. Is anyone else irked by this, or something similar?

Same here, I talk to my dog and he barks and howls back at me....we have deep conversations sometimes.....mostly about if he needs to go outside, what flavor treat does he want, does he want to go for a walk.....you know...important dog shit

They told me he was deaf and I was like...."what the frick is the use in having a deaf dog"?

I agree with this. In my household, the dog is the only who will listen to me. I'd like to believe his sympathetic to my plight.

No you don’t. You talk to your dog and he wags his tale just because he’s getting attention. He has no idea what the hell you’re saying. Kinda like talking to a woman
