What are the parameters for “early career pay”?
I’m curious how the military academies can be so high there.

More important, it’s a function of major. After that, job performance and interpersonal skills.

If you hover over the headers, 0-5 years for early. 10+ for median.

Benefits like free room and board, food, and health care outweigh salary early on.

Huh. According to this most mid career folks that graduate from LSU with just a bachelors make $104,000.
Let me just call BS right out the gate.

So, are they not counting the service requirement for them? (Isn’t it 5years?)
Or do they move up in pay grade that quickly? I thought entry level officer salaries were around 40k or so.

That list screams white privilege

Plant Baws laugh at this entire list...

Without looking, most of these are probably medical or engineering degrees. I know people with “studies” degrees from Stanford making 40k

Is this the thread we brag about how we make more money than any of that?

After their 4 years of service, they become doctors, pilots, CEOs...

Your career choice matters way more than the college you got your degree from.

Seven years in making 25% above the Aggy mid-career pay. Not terrible

It’s about what you major in and what you learn/what skills you acquire way more than where you go to school.

That's really interesting that all of the service academies are right up there.
