It's unbelievable to me that some people actually think it's a choice.
There are gay people out there who choose to live a celibate life because they are not attracted to the opposite sex and they believe relations with the same sex is morally wrong.
If being gay was a choice, these people wouldn't exist. Period.
I do not condone acting on those attractions, but I sure as hell can tell you one thing: I don't agree with the action, but I also acknowledge that living as a celibate homosexual is fricking hard.
As I once heard from a Catholic speaker, people who can do that are heroes. I have close friends who do it, and props to them.
I just wish that Christians would focus on tackling the most difficult issues in their own lives before judging these people.
For instance, any Catholic who is against gay relationships better not be using birth control. If they are, that is some hypocritical bullshite. If you want to believe the Church is right about the part of sex that doesn't affect you, you better believe it's right about the part that does.
