I live in Florida. I read about his shite every day. There are some things he does that I'm a fan of, and then there's the obvious "pandering to the MAGA base" crap he does that almost everyone in the state pushes back on. His "stop woke" legislation is so pointless and causes more problems than it fixes (if any).

i knew sic had a case of TDS, but apparently it’s expanded to DeSantis. Not sure why he sticks around in such a terrible MAGA state like Florida, why not move to Cali, NY, NJ, New Mexico, etc?

That is what he is talking about when he says Ron's policies cause more harm that no one agrees with. The truth is just he and his bubble don't like the policies but the rest of the state is proud and thankful for Ron putting an end to the CV madness that did more harm than good.
