It's actually seen a resurgence in popularity in the last few years with the 90's being "discovered" by teens today.
On a positive note, I ordered some things from AE last night, and I think the ad campaign broke the internet. I had to refresh off an on for an hour to even get the order placed. Cheers to the olden days of Abercrombie style advertising!
