Hell... even the "Fascinating Behavior" or "Is It Them?" is moderated on this site from what I've heard.
How does a society tackle a problem that cannot be named?
I'll tell you how- we make jokes, we make memes and smart people create distance. Those are our only common tools.

As a woman, if I’m alone, a bunch of white deliverance types. Or white people on bath salts.
But I would not have been afraid walking through that crowd Saturday night. Maybe I’m naive. Maybe it’s b/c I’m a scrawny little clothed white girl. No one would be bothered by my presence.
I guess the fear is the shootings that seem to be affiliated with such crowds. Saturday night i wouldn’t have been thinking of that, though.

I don't know what crowd, unless this is the specific campus shooting thing that I missed (was mostly offline for a few days)... but honestly, I avoid crowds PERIOD. When people, of any persuasion, want to pop off, crowds seem to be the way they do it.

It's sad that so many in the black community consider things like respectability, responsibility, education, the family unit, and self control to be purely "white" traits.

It is sad.. but I believe even The Smithsonian had an exhibit on "whiteness" about such traits.
Acting right is acting white.
Acting white is anti-black.
Anti-black is problematic.
It is what it is, and will be so until the "culture" finds value in things and behaviors that are objectively good, regardless of color.
