I put nothing past that woman. And you would be surprised at the people that read here. Not her, obviously, but people in government may.
I'll just say there was a place in MidCity that has been absolutely harsh about it that wasn't doing anything this past weekend which surprised me

My parents are in town for the week, both places we've gone out to eat so far have not requested to see any cards.
I'm sure with Halloween weekend + Saints-Bucs on Sunday businesses are going to be too overwhelmed to be doing any sort of actual checking (if I had to guess)

Thats what i dont get why dont most businesses say fuk it we not requiring masks or vax cards like every other restaurant is doing in this state. Its these restaurants that are enforcing it that makes no sense when everyone else is like fuk this mask mandate we not enforcing it.

Because Latoya will come after them, hard. She's fined and shut down temporarily quite a few already.
It isn't worth it to many. Just ask people to comply or GTFO and not have to deal with the City.
And also, of course, many restaurant owners in NOLA are far left true believers.

And for some losing their conditional license will be the end of the bar/restaurant. The only thing allowing the conditional license to continue is their good standing.
