Danny’s Fried Chicken, Ray’s Pege in Monroe. Chester’s Cypress Inn in Schriever (best frog legs, onion rings and chicken), now gone. Zetner’s in San Angelo, TX (gone). Cascio’s in Monroe (gone). Joe Dreyfus (Livonia) now gone. Jugheads in Deer Park, LA (gone). Brocato’s Italian in Ferriday (gone).

That looks like just appetizers, queso and salads. I haven’t looked at a menu in years. I’m surprised they even have a website.
I still often get the exact same dish that I got the first time I sat down in there when I was 12 years old. It’s called the Toluca.

They have a few Griff’s locations in the DFW area. I never realized they had locations in LA.

All the small town eateries from my childhood are pretty much gone…..I wish I could have another roast beef poboy from Dad’s Donuts and Deli in Franklinton!!!

I'll still get a couple chili dogs, fries and a half vanilla, half chocolate ice from Country Cream in Mer Rouge every couple months. Drag some fries thru the ice cream like I did as a kid. Good stuff
