Everyone is so fricking offended about everything. You’re going to start seeing more and more people not give a shite, and they actually will be offensive. Brought about by a false sense of offensiveness. Ironic.

I took notice of the many line crews doing repair last month after the ice storm. I did not see the first female, cis, trans, whatever.

What I did see were many men displaying their male privilege by working in near freezing weather repairing power lines, resetting poles, working in bucket trucks, etc.

So ladies, you're welcome to join in any time.

Shouldn't those kids be at home making sandwiches and learning how to wash clothes?

I said the other day, after seeing one, "I wonder why no one has bitched about these signs yet, since people bitch about EVERYTHING?"

Sigh, and here we are...

Only response should have been, come on down and tell us how your feelers are more important than the safety of these workers. Since they want to be so damn picky on every last thing, add to that now they want to be wasteful and make a bunch of new signs when the existing signs are working just fine for the intended purpose of safety.

Someone should make a sign that says "Blaie, Brienne and everyone else, there are men working and women holding flags ahead"

Since she said “Women can do anything, and it’s not right to have it just say ‘men,’” Brienne said.

I wonder how much snow mom and the daughters shovel during those Indiana snow storms.

Alot of parents of boys in the area just added those two girls to their sons avoid at all costs list.

Why don't people realize that for things like this, or when we say words like mankind, "one small step for man", etc. That isn't referring to literally only males and no women. It's just a generalized term that refers to people in general, all human beings.

The sign, "men working" does not mean that only men are allowed to work and women aren't allowed. It's just saying that literal human beings are working ahead, please proceed with caution. If you want to change the wording of that, go right ahead. That doesn't mean the meaning has changed at all.

What about the people that don’t want any work done by anybody ?

I see “ End Construction “ signs all of the time.

Why do the want all construction to stop? We won’t have any roads.

frick that. What needs to happen is they need to make them join the line crew. And we will tell them don’t worry this is for your own good, this is what equity means.

It’s high time that these people are shown how ridiculous their ideas are. Not through explanation but through living it.

Oh really, gender is a social construct? Try some manual labor and get back to us.
