Since when does Chick-fil-A make you pull up/around for your food?

This is a “first world problems” thing of sorts. But I just went to CFA and the girl at the window tells me “can you pull around to the front of the building, we’re getting some fresh food ready for you..” just like they do at fricking Popeye’s or Mcdonalds (yes, fast food, I’m fat, blah blah). I pulled around and meanwhile, the drive thru was just rolling like normal.

And I ordered the same thing everyone else in line ordered (chicken fingers, strips, sandwich). And all single meals (the sandwich wasn’t even a meal, just the sandwich). I can understand if I had ordered 100 nuggets or something like that.

I’ve never had that or seen that happen at CFA before, and hope it doesn’t happen again.

Anyway, has anybody else had or seen this happen? I hope it’s not a sign of things to come for CFA, since they’ve always shined in the service and efficiency departments.
