When I was looking at the wipers at O’Reilly’s, a black dude was looking at them also. I said, “Goddamn, $32 for a set of windshield wipers! frick that, I’m getting them from Amazon.”

Black dude said, “No shite bro, that’s crazy. I ain’t paying that shite.”

Put two coats of Rain-X exactly the way the instructions call for.
I’ve used it before and it works very well, but it’s such a pain in the arse to apply.

Don’t drive in the rain, this is the obvious solution.

I don’t know about that. My previous pair were Bosch and they didn’t last anywhere close to two years.

If you park outside all the time or work at a chemical plant, they will dry out faster

I’ve found the spring arm type work better than the more expensive beam type. The beam type always leaves a streak right in the middle of the driver’s side.

I’ve never had any good luck with Bosch. Extremely overpriced garbage, IMO.

Years ago, we had a Honda Accord, and the factory refills were about $6 a set, so $12 to replace all. Got a Toyota Avalon and about shite when they told me it was $40 for a pair.

But they do last and work well. I bought some at an auto parts place once, and they were awful in comparison.

I do this. Aboot 5 years ago, some parts monkey at AutoZone decided I was going to buy a $35 set. He told me all of the talking points aboot quality. He then tried the safety angle. Then he tried to shame me into it.
I Rain-X once a month and have 6 year old blades.

Was shocked a couple of years ago when I paid over $75 for three premium wipers and an oil filter at AutoZone. Had been meaning to jump on RockAuto but had forgotten and my wife had a road trip the next day.

After that, I bought the next set at RA for less than half, including shipping.

I'm convinced the wiper blade industry salesmen have sourced out blades at a cost to auto manufacturers. Mainly because they require you to replace the entire carrier instead of just the blade as a refill.

You can still pick up cheap ones at Walmart for about 4-5 bucks but they are cheap and not just inexpensive.

No bullshite, I bought some of those before.. Sort of in a hurry.. They lasted about 2 months. I don't know if that's normally how long they last or if that was just worse than normal pair... But they were complete shite.

Costco or Rock Auto for wiper blades.

Advanced auto, autozone and O'reilly's most expensive place for car parts these days

You really do get what you pay for. I got tired of loud wipers and having to replace them all the time, so I started buying better ones. Much better.

No actually the ChiComs have inflated the price on all their exported auto accessories.

I buy Bosch from Rock Auto for $2.50 each. I order a 12 pack and that will last however long I end up keeping my Tundra.

You will barely need wipers.

Yeah, that does not work in St. Martin parish during cane season.

PIAA blades for when you need windshield wiped.
