Since when did a set of windshield wipers cost $25-50?
Went to O’Reilly’s the other day to buy replacement wipers for my truck. Cheapest wipers were $16 apiece for 22” wipers. Prices ranged from $12 apiece to $25 for all sizes. WTF?

It’s been maybe a year since I bought some, but damn I don’t remember them being that much. Ended up buying some on Amazon for $11 for a pair.

Is there a worldwide rubber shortage or something? frick.

No inflation here. Let’s keep printing that cheddar.

You can still pick up cheap ones at Walmart for about 4-5 bucks but they are cheap and not just inexpensive.

Wipers are a relatively inexpensive but significant safety feature for a vehicle, I do mentally complain about the price but there is a difference and I pay for the ones that work better longer for me.

My car has 3 windshield wipers, I feel your pain. Four if you count the rear.

Right now they're mostly printing bonds. The real chaos will come when they have to print money to pay back those bonds.

They still have cheap blades, but you get what you asks for. A cheap pair of blades may last you a year. Try a higher price set, they last 2+ years, and they just seem to work better. I have noticed they are quieter as well.

I have my windscreen wipers custom-made for my vehicles in a small Scottish Highlands village by a fourth generation wiper maker.

Cost is no option for such an important safety accoutrement.

Do you want quality wipers?

Quality wipers cost money to make

Go to Costco baw. Set of Michelin wipers are $6.20 apiece.

The auto parts stores will always jack the prices up because they make the best margins on shite like that.

I don’t know about that. My previous pair were Bosch and they didn’t last anywhere close to two years.

I was shocked as well the last time I purchased wiper blades. Spent nearly $50 and had to install them myself. I will say the descent quality blades last longer and work better.

Put two coats of Rain-X exactly the way the instructions call for.

You will barely need wipers.

If you have never you used it before you will wonder why.

At oriellys they keep the $10 ones behind the counter.

What's what I buy. There are no numbers other than lengths.

Just measure what you have and go in there and ask for them.
