You can't let the truth get in the way.

The title says "Shreveport mayor orders no fire and police for trump rally".

In the article there is a statement that explains that Trump wasn't going to be in Shreveport. He was going to fly into Barksdale and be in Bossier City and despite the fact city property could not be used for political purposes they were providing first responders and whatever they are legally required to do.

But of course most people will not read beyond the title and the title becomes absolute.

It's cool. Most people on this site is okay with people doing whatever they want, even if it breaks the law, as long as it is in the name of their political views...
Is bitching about how terrible everyone on this site your new shtick? I notice you've been whining a lot lately.

I think, on average, it cost just over $15k an hour for the president to travel. That doesn't include the cost of state and local government cost.

So what? Dont you think A lot of Shreveport residents will be there? along with Natchitoches, Sabine, Red River.. If they are called upon for help, just go and be thankful the President of the United States is coming here to this area. As bad a shape as Shreveport is in, you would think they would do whatever is necessary to stay on everyones good side for when cedar grove becomes a war zone.

Shreveport is a cess pool. Any decent human I still have contact with in Shreve has since moved to the following places while still commuting at various times in a 7 day week:

Haughton
Benton
Bossier City
Longview, TX
Tyler, TX
Kilgore, TX
Minden
McLeod, TX

Some of those are serious commutes.

Maybe to an idiot he looked great. JfC. To add, in my opinion and after hearing him Tuesday morning he really doesn’t sound very intelligent to me, not for Harvard Law, West Point, whatever. It’s really a shame as even I hoped he’d turn out but turns out my hope was dashed real quick.

The issue with no help from Shreveport police, etc. is potential high traffic issues on the Shreveport side of the river trying to get to Bossier. It will look like an average day on the I10 bridge for you BR folk.

I live in North Bossier and I see what you are getting at, but some of those are not like the others. McLeod is nothing more than a meth filled trailer park.

Good thing the rally is in Bossier City and not in his shithole.
