A shooting has been reported outside of the Third Base Gate at Nationals Park. Fans are encouraged to exit the ballpark via the CF and RF gates at this time. We're working with law enforcement to provide more information as soon as it becomes available.

I’d expect this at a Dodgers-Giants game. The ballpark in DC is in a rough area though.

Doesn’t DC have really strict gun laws?
Posted on 7/17/21 at 9:10 pm to TigerOnTheMountain
Its DC? People still notice when there are gunshots?

Is this where you say this definitely would’ve happened in Republican lead city?

They rival Chicago. When I read they’re working with police for more information, that usually means it’s not the type of shooting the media likes.

Thoughts & prayers to the victims.

Have they blamed it on Trump yet?

What used to be a rough area. Believe me...they've cleaned up Navy Yard and the surrounding area over the last decade. Anacostia is right across the river, however, and it's a shithole of almost biblical proportions.

No. I don't say that silly shite. I am smart enough to realize that what goes on in cities will not change just because a mayor has a certain leader by his or her name.
That's just a city doing city shite.

We should expect crime to go go up when there are no consequences.

completely coincidence some of these cities have had democrat mayor and democrat city council for decades ehh?

No. He doesn't have the resources to encourage people to go to Washington to try to overturn something that was procedural.

Navy Yard has undergone a complete transformation. It's been fully gentrified by liberals. Anacostia is still the same as ever, though.

I always show my true colors. Not everyone needs a platform to tell them what they must and must not support.
