In the mid to late 1980s there use to be a rock bar on corner of So Sherwood Forest Blvd and Old Hammond Hwy - if I recall correctly. Does anyone remember the name of it?
I had a former Boyfriend that I saw in there right before he past away from alcohol poisoning or something like that. His name was Jake Jacobson - or at least that is what he told me. I was 16/17 yrs of age and he was in mid to late 20s. He was a Harley biker living with other bikers in a neighborhood off Florida Blvd I think, Near Europe's [Pizza] Restaurant.
I was wondering - if I could find out what ?really happened to him - it would be unbelievable since all my info is vague.
Thanks.

I can still see the baseball bat aisle and fishing lures section in my head. That place was a huge part of my childhood.

I used to hang out at the Sports Page all the time. Our band played there in 85. Some of the pro wrestlers would show up there after a show at the Centroplex.
