in its ownership of women’s bodies

“I think a lot of the critique comes from feeling like they’re able to tear apart the CGI woman," Coiro explained. "There’s a lot of talk about her body type, and we based it on Olympian athletes and not bodybuilders. But I think if we had gone the other way, we would be facing the same critique. I think it’s very hard to win when you make women’s bodies.”

I mean what's wrong about this statement? It's exactly the problem today.

Did they base the male Hulk off of athletes or bodybuilders, or is he something more? Something... super?

Directors and studio executives need to stop scouring Twitter and youtube comments looking for complaints to rebut. They're complaining about nerds complaining about shite that no normal person gives a flying frick about.

Every fool knows CGI is racist.

Am I the only one who thinks she looks better green than she does IRL?

Are people complaining about her body or that the TV show CGI isn’t movie level CGI?

It comes from the fact that in the comic Jennifer is gorgeous as She-Hulk. This woman is not gorgeous in either her natural state or as She-Hulk.

I mean, super hero movies are insanely unrealistic either way. Whether it’s someone flying or tipping over cars, either way no real person can do that. But if it’s another thing for conservatives to get upset about, I guess go ahead.

Isn’t she bigger in the comics and better looking?

We have rules here for a reason.

It's literally impossible for 99% of women to get that bodybuilding look without steroids so it is unnatural and wierd looking. They can easily get a ripped and slightly muscular build with hard work but bulky looking women is unnatural.

Not this conservative. And she looks better than the Phil Leotardo compromise I had to settle for last night.

I guess maybe I'm not a "normal person" but I'm tired of the shitty generic and/or woke movies these people are pumping out and being gaslit that the reason they aren't performing well and other people don't like them is because of our alleged secret feelings about black people or women.

It’s the current playbook before these releases. They know they are weak for a variety of reasons, so they get out ahead of it by saying any criticism is coming from whatever bigotry is applicable.
It’s been the norm for Disney products since at least 2015 (“The Force Awakens”), though maybe it got more serious as the defense with “The Last Jedi.”

Wait, there's a She-Hulk now?
Posted on 8/5/22 at 10:42 pm to deathvalleyfreak43
I’d try to plow her

or, and hear me out, adults could stop caring about comic book movies

Yea but when she was created in 1980 there wasn’t people like Ben Shapiro to sky scream that “a fictional woman could never do that in an entirely fictional film”. I swear the conservative “hyper anti cancel culture” crowd is as bad as the cancel culture crowd.
