Maybe the heat in the south makes the machines work harder. That's probably why most of the machines in the south are down in that map

This has happened more than once. The Wendy's on College told my wife they were out of chocolate shakes so she orders vanilla and they give her chocolate.

“Machine down” - the least amount of syllables possible to conserve the most energy associated with communicating that they will not expend the time or energy to make you a shake.

1/2 the group orders shakes online to pickup at the McDonald’s we pick.
1/2 the group orders in person at the same McDonalds. We space out the orders by every 10 minutes or more depending on customers.
Then we can see how many shake machines are really broken.
