No doubt Tyson would kick his arse. He may not be in the best shape of his life, but at least he's alive.

Now if you're talking about a live Bruce Lee vs. live Tyson then I'll have to go with Lee.

pshh Trying to paint it to be that youre a REAL MAN if you think tyson wins. I swear, how old are you people? It was Bruce Lee's martial art that made him the famous movie star to begin with. He wasnt a movie star first that learned karate. shite dudes

Partially my point. If you have actual combat experience, you know the difference between people who throw side kicks, and those who don't bother. Someone brought up a great point with early UFC and Royce Gracie. Royce Gracie made it look easy, but you're talking about one of the greatest grapplers in the world during those first few UFCs. But Royce wasn't Bruce Lee, he was what? 6'0", and 200lbs? There's a big fricking difference in a guy THAT size barely beating Kimo, Kimo who would have been beaten to death by Tyson, mind you. So with no BS in that fight, like a fluke knockout, you're telling me that one of the best grapplers in the world could barely beat a good fighter who was much larger.... but Bruce Lee with limited grappling ability is going to give up around 80 Lbs to one of the fastest heavyweights ever trained and win? He would go to snap a kick at Tyson, and Tyson would uppercut his dick in the dirt.

You are correct. The guys in the UFC have been in documented fights against trained opponents. Bruce Lee... well he's been in thousands of street fights in China, 1 inch punched a guy into a chair and kicked all loads of arse on the big screen. Same thing, right?

I agree 100%. Those who are heralding Lee likely have never spent a minute training in any competitive striking sport. I like how all of them ignored my comments on Lee's heavy bag work.

we're talking about a street fight or a cage match.

Lee destroys tyson, this isnt even a good toss up debate. Lee could knock tyson the f out I can promise you.

This is ridiculous. Why are people acting like Mike Tyson doesn't know how to streetfight? He's likely been in more than Lee. Mike, in his prime, would knock Lee's dick in the dirt ten out of ten times. Hell, Tyson at fifty would probably beat him. Stop believing Hollywood hype.

I'm still here...

I can't imagine what Tyson's bare knuckles would do to the ribs of a 145lb man.

Don't laugh Darth - for pros, the gloves are to protect the hands of the puncher, not the opponent - that's why Tyson broke his hand punching Mitch "Blood" Green on the street in Harlem.

The huge amateur gloves, along with headgear, take a lot of the mustard off the punches - the very light pro gloves do not.

I think the two videos of each of them working the heavy bag should be proof enough of what a fight between those two would have looked like. Tyson would have seriously hurt Lee before Lee even knew what was happening.

To a heavyweight boxer's eye:

(But he broke his hand with the punch.)

But he said the more padding the harder one could punch. That's why I laughed.

If Tyson had delivered that same punch to Lee, I'd be suprised if it didn't leave Lee with brain damage

Why not Predator vs. Tyson? Or Rambo vs. Tyson? Perhaps Darth Vader vs. Tyson while we're at it?
