Tyson would have gotten his face kicked in. He wouldn't have been ready for them roundhouse kicks.

Lennox Lewis is one of the best fighters I've ever watched and I've watched a ton of them. Dream fight for me would be Lewis v. Ali both in their prime. I think Lewis could go 8 rounds with Ali easily and maybe beat Ali 3 out of 5 fights.

In all honesty, and if I'm correct in assuming Bruce Lee has faster hand speed, all he'd have to do is jam his fingers in Tyson's eyesockets...which given his years and years of martial arts and particularly wing chun, he'd know and have practiced doing it a few million times a few dozen ways while sparring. In all honesty that's probably the first thing Bruce would do, and I doubt Tyson would be quick enough to stop it.

I don't mean to be an arse, but is this based on more than assumption? Is there any actual evidence backing up BL's apparent godliness?

Just "credible" eye witnesses. Perhaps the same ones that can confirm aliens, sasquatch, Obama's Hawaiian birth and the G spot.

Bruce was absolutely known for his insane speed. The martial arts competition he went to where he famously did the thumb/index finger pushups and 1 inch punch demonstrations, they had what was considered to be the fastest guy there up on stage with Bruce. Bruce got in his stance and said basically, "Ok, I'm going to punch at you. Try to block it or catch it however you normally would."
So Bruce punched and always had his hand back down at his waist(where it started the punch) right as the guy would get his block to where Bruce's arm HAD been. Then there were also the reports of directors making Bruce slow down because the camera speed couldn't catch his movements. And also many eyewitness accounts, even one really neat guy who was training with Bruce's friend and Bruce had come in sometimes and taught.
ETA: the guy was a fighter in the competition and not someone that knew Bruce personally or who was brought for the demonstrations. Bruce did demonstrations at various tournaments as he was invited.

oh really? See Anoki v. Ali.
I'm sorry, I thought this thread was about a 5'11" 220 Tyson vs the 5'6" 145 Kung Fu Master in a street fight. Not a 6'3" 250 Japanese Wrestler vs 6'3" 210 Mohammad Ali in a charity exhibition. Next can we please talk about Rocky Balboa vs Thunder Lips?

He also didn't get within a foot of the guys face. Watch it in slow motion. And the quy had his arms all the way down at his side.

That's a lot of words just to say no.
I'll give it to you though. Bruce Lee was a master at exercising.

I gotcha. Still it seems like being closer wouldn't be much different. The speed advantage was clear. He'd have gotten hit

I donno. Still trying to picture Bruce Lee fighting either one of these guys.
Hard to picture him actually fighting with anyone, considering the lack of any proof.
I have much respect for him though. He'd kick my arse.

I just don't see how he could ever beat the hell out of mike tyson
