If this bill changes 48U tax credits for nuclear it’s a death sentence for development. We’ll see zero new reactors come online in our life without a production tax credit.

I guess solar and wind projects are going to shift into high gear so they can be completed before the end of 2027.

The bill was changed significantly since this article but yes it’s going to be madness for the ext few years depending on which version ends up getting through. Tax credit sunset and the distinction between placed in service or construction commenced will be the key to what that looks like. All the big capital players are primed up and ready to go.
