Doesn't seem that bad...did she tell him to quit coming to her work? Hope they have evidence like video of him being at her apartment complex etc. Hell he could have known someone that lived there and didn't know that she did.

Defense lawyer gonna eat this case up.

Seems to me that this guy was stalking the girl and hopefully this arrest will straighten him out.

Sorry for your arrest, buddy. Hopefully your attorney can get you a good deal.

The victim alleges the 23-year-old Clarke repeatedly showed up at the restaurant where she is a server, would request her table and then stay for hours.

That’s not too bad but then I read the next sentence

He also reportedly showed up in the parking lot of her apartment complex.

Alright put this dude down before he jacks it in the bushes outside her window

Has to be more to this than these two issues. Neither are arrestable offenses.

Alone? No. Together they show a potential stalking situation. My guess is they questioned him about why he was in the complex parking lot and he had either no answers or they didn't make sense.

In the past, police have ignored this kind of thing with bad results.
Hopefully common sense played a role in this.

There has to be more to the story than the article states.

Yeah, they need to wait until he makes himself a body suit with her skin. Don't want to make someone uncomfortable by arresting a stalker for stalking a potential victim.

Yeah, the dude is a stalker and a creep.

Why didn't the place where the girl work step in and have the guy removed?

Did she have a restraining order? Typical that comes first and then the arrest is made when it’s violated

My daughter, husband and I were investigated by police because my daughter drove down my street and dropped her children off at my house every day at 7:30am on her way to work.
My daughter was stopped by the woman one morning and told neighbor what she was doing and woman could see children in car.
The neighbor still called police saying my daughter was stalking her. Only because the neighbor would be leaving for work at the same time.
When I called to complain, the investigating officer said the “investigation” was complete and no charges would be filed. They had run our licenses, spoke to my daughters employer, and spoke with other neighbors.

Anyone ever have anything this bizarre happen to them? I was PISSED.
Apparently the police in Delaware are bored or there are too many of them.

When Chad stalks, it's "romantic."
