An Amazon executive told The Sadvocate they did not change their minds about using the Cortana Mall site in Baton Rouge for their fulfillment center solely because 2 of their 3 company Escalades were stolen while touring the property last January. "That did kinda piss us off, yeah, but then some jackass who claimed to be a community leader, whatever the hell that means, emailed our HR department demanding we hire 95% black employees all of whom lived within 5 miles of the proposed location and said we could not perform background checks on them prior to their hiring. He then demanded we pay him a small finders fee for every employee we hired," said the executive. "He wanted payment in the form of gift certificates from Golden Corral Restaurant. That's where we drew the line and headed to Lafayette," the man said. "Your Governor assured us with all the locally owned businesses he's shut down for good there would be no shortage of desperate people looking for minimum wage work to keep their lights on," he told us in closing.

Sounds like someone who was banned from the poliboard decided to write c rate OT lounge fodder.
I'm assuming that is satire, but satire is usually funny.

I am literally in tears laughing at this thinking of someone posing to be gravy from tiger droppings in an email to Amazon.

Definitely an OT’er behind it.
The stuff of SWB and Murphy Paul were spot on during the election cycle. Pulitzer Prize winning level.

Well I know that’s satire but this deal is actually back on the table and apparently BRAC and other business leaders have gotten involved to try and broker the Dillard’s dilemma.
I’ll believe it when I see it but there is truth to the above statement.

This sounds like an awkward attempt at a Babylon Bee article (with local flavor) and, yet, simultaneously is 100% plausible and I generally believe it to be accurate.

I'm actually pretty big.
The writing was cringy and try hard. Like Fr33 poetry.
