Yea i know what that is like. I was only ever really good at one thing in my life: basketball. I got hurt and had to "retire" from bball at 20, and its not like i was nba bound or anything, but my plan of going to Europe and spending my twenties there went to shite and i lost my way a bit. Im 31 now and i make a decent living as a painter, but i spend a good amount of time plucking petroleum based paint out of my hair. A lot of my peers who finished school have all these great things and great lives, and i know im always gonna be me, but thatd okay. As long as im living, thats good enough for me. If life gets too hard we just gotta take a break and focus on our blessings. Just gotta keep putting one foot in front of the other. One foot, the other...one foot, the other.

Well said. You are where you are, make the most out of it, and keep living and enjoying your family and friends. Oh, and get a dog, dogs are awesome companions.

This is a fact. ^^^

I've had the pleasure of knowing Will for the last 11 years. He was just a wide eyed freshman when we 1st met & my life was better for simply knowing him.

His user name is LSU fball inspired via the student section. A great story for another time.

I once told him he was my own personal Chris Farley but with a real life job. The dude liked to party, makes everyone laugh, & always be passionate about LSU.

I knew about what went down back in the spring, but he NEVER gave any indication anything overly negative would come of it in relation to his job or anything like that. I mean, he just hit a huge level passing his CFA III. He was also heading to Europe with his fiance' in just a matter of days/weeks (unless something changed-that maybe led to this horrible news).

I'm angry that I may/likely never know what he felt was so bad that he chose this route. I've endured my own battles with suicide & he knew it. Even laughed me through it & here I still am.
But now I'm angry at how much I'm going to miss my friend & that I had no clue he was hurting.

Serious. Fortunately, I'm highly extroverted to where I will outwardly ask for help.

same personality. Although I've my extreme extrovert personality has caused me to want to act out begging for help more than to actually humble myself and ask for help.

I've been in some dark spots.

Ever want to bullshite about things, I'm open ears and possibly have heard it all and been through most as well

Foreverlsu30 I'm terribly sorry. Please find someone to talk it through with. I know I'd have to. The "what could I have done" thing can eat you up. Find someone to listen and talk to. Please.
