Rick Santelli on CNBC is tired of a lack of liberty and he might get cancelled as a result

Twitter Video
Santelli pointing out the hypocrisy of “essential” businesses being packed and restaurants in many places being closed to in person dining.
Sorkin says it’s a disservice to public health and quite dangerous to suggest people should be allowed to decide for themselves whether or not they should go to a restaurant. If I can find a better video I’ll post it. Nice way to start a Friday.
Longer Video
Best quality video on CNBC site - thanks prplehaze

Of course we get a twitter warning for sensitive content. No cussing, just disagreeing with the government.

Why do you want to kill people with your freedom?!

2 people talking over each other is "sensitive content"?

Is a smarmy little frick that I'd love to punch in the face. Frankly, most of the CNBC Financial news is big gov't, leftist bullshite. Kramer and his sidekick are the worst.
Santelli keeps asking "who this is" in regards to the leftist pushback on his commentary. To which Joe replies, "Santelli you know who this is....." Joe and Sorkin got in a sure enough shouting match at each other earlier this year. Leftist hate facts and freedom.
ETA: I think Santelii's point is very reasonable: While shutting down restaurants and bars in the service industry is the EASY answer, surely it's not the ONLY answer? Not sure why that would be controversial?

Rick Santelli is the man if you aren’t familiar with CNBC

It’s absurd. Really. The average American is dumb as hell, but he should still be allowed to make up his own mind as to whether or not he wants to go to a restaurant.

Very familiar. Love his random rants.

SanTellItLikeItIs is his name on the street
He was very entertaining during the 08 crash
To surmise
Santelli is saying that there is no difference between a restaurant (that holds 600) serving 150 people who are spread out and a Lowes that is packed with 600 people not spread out but wearing masks.
My .02cents- it depends. Does the restaurant have good ventilation? Is the Lowes enforcing the masks and are they good masks? Is the restaurant worker wearing good masks?
Lots of variables
Generally though, I take the stance that the restaurant should be allowed to open and diners can make the choice to go or not

The retort "It's Science" really sums it up on their agenda, as if anyone should ever dare their authority over us.

I have no idea who either of those two are...but that was a perfect summation of the elitist, condescending attitude that folks like me and many of you are just so fed up with.

Said 1000 times here both Blue and Red are all in the political scam together. Of course all Fortune 1000 is getting a pass. The blame goes to the Crazy Libtards but that's a design even DC/State Libtards care little about. As for Red, they play the same game under an equally hypocritical playbook. Both meet in the middle to keep the money grift running while ensuring we the little people bitch and moan on their online platforms.
They're insulated. All 535 and the WH. Don't be fooled by picking a side.

But Orange Man is bad because he is not part of their scheme and shows how easy it is to run a country when you remove the bullshite
We must vote him out

That shite is infuriating. Those assholes don't care about the "science". They love to jump on Christians about cherry picking bible verses to fit a narrative. As they shout about science yet cherry pick studies to fit their narrative and tell me that I could be a woman in five minutes should I choose so.
They can all get fricked with the "science" bullshite.

People ought to be able to do whatever the hell they want. The government should protect national sovereignty and private property, and maintain a strong currency. That's it.
Not sure when this turned into a radical idea, but somehow maybe Devery Henderson was involved, if you catch my drift.

It's time to end the charade, get everything open, the economy back on track, and let people who are worried take the precautions they need.
Walmart, amazon, lowes, and kroger are getting super rich off the pandemic, while small businesses are closing daily.

while i generally agree as F both parties, where is Red team trying to shut people down in November 2020? I understand the panic in March and April, but almost every other Red politician has let their people go. Blue states have struggled. Red states have struggled. Blue states have struggled. Red cities and blue cities have struggled. Everybody has had their ups and downs. NY and CA are struggling right now, while Florida is cruising along. But only one color is insisting on more shutdowns and ruining people's lives.
TLDR:
both parties suck. But only one party is insisting on shutting down again since it didn't work last time.
