I didn’t think so either and asked him about it earlier here. He told me there was “anecdotal evidence.” I don’t know what that means.

We’ve already explained why omicron is different and affecting vaxxed and unvaxxed alike. The mutations are such that the antibodies created from the vaccine aren’t nearly as effective as they were for the previous versions. There’s data and studies to support that conclusion, not what you are saying.

Here’s a Twitter thread explaining omicron’s behavior. Please give it a read. It explains why people are getting it regardless of vax status and why it’s so mild for everyone.
TLDR version:
Omicron ignores antibodies created from the vaccines and even prior infection to an extent. But the TCells created are still good. Antibodies stop infection. TCells fight it. So people are getting infected and testing positive but it’s much milder. Also, if you’ve never been unposed to a vax or prior Covid, there’s evidence previous colds and flus offer protection through TCells as well.

I know. Medical establishment and government leaders are very ridged and close minded in their view. They are open to nothing new and only accept social distancing, mask and vaccines. That is it.
I hope they change because their stance is scientism, not science. Science is open to skepticism and new ideas. The religion of scientism is not open to challenge and new ideas.

Definitely not true in my experience, 4 family members tested positive today and all have had 3 shots. Two sick, the other two just fine.

The vaccine, boosters, and having covid even only a few months ago don’t mean shite for this variant
13 year old cousin had covid about 2 months ago. Just lost taste and smell. Nothing else
Got this strain now and has mild congestion is all. But that just shows this strain has mutated that much
ETA: even the old overweight people in the family who got this strain only have mild cold symptoms

My friend is a nurse at a local urgent care. They had 200 patients yesterday, with it about even half covid half the regualr flu.
