Wait wait. Tell me how I went along? At any point?
I never supported lockdowns. I never supported vaccine mandates. I never wanted masks. I don’t wear them even to places that “require” them. Someone has to tell me to do it and even then I’ll make sure I have something to drink with me to show I don’t have to. Weird how simple that one was. Anywhere you went all you need was a bottle of water in your hand.
Check my post history going back to the big Covid thread in 2020. I got laughed at and downvoted for every post that predicted where we are now. Even then I was saying it was a slippery slope to allow mayors and governors to close up shop when at the time there were only a few hundred CASES nation wide. But these power hungry “leader” went with the knee jerk, psycho reaction falling over one another to see who could lockdown first and for longer. We went from a canceled NBA game to statewide school closures in less than 72 hours. It was unbelievable to behold. A man who went to his daughters dance in St Louis was being vilified and people were calling for him to be doxxed and sued into oblivion right here on this board. And he didn’t even have a positive test yet.
I know how we got here. A lot of sheep are at fault. But I’m not one of them.

The TCells are what attack the infection and they remain much longer. Antibodies stop infection. TCells are after the fact.

Sorry. Just fired up over all this nonsense. The lies spouted at every single one of these things gets to me. And no one asks the important questions. Is anyone going to ask the governor or one of these doctors how many of these hospitalizations are actually incidental and asymptomatic? Something as simple as that would pull back the curtain on how mild this strain is.

As someone who just got over what was likely omicron its pretty easy to tell the difference. You don't even need a test.
The flu is infinitely worse.

The vaccinated and boosted are less likely to get it and when they do get it they’ll be less likely to have severe symptoms or require hospitalization . I prefer not to get sick as I have shite to do. Same as the flu shot
by spring I believe we will have achieved the mythical herd immunity from death by COVID and we can all move on. In the meantime we need leadership to stop scaring stupid people into flooding emergency rooms and clinics
