I used to love waking up early as a kid to see the LSU basketball score at the bottom of the screen on CNN to see if we won only to be disappointed during the end of Dale Brown era lol.

Not getting any fun out of the news is EXACTLY what made old school Headline News important. It was news for people who just wanted to hit the high points and didn't want to binge-watch 24 hour news like people do today. We had Seinfeld and ER to watch back in the day.

She hosted Morning Express for a generation.
Her first day was 9/11.
Beautiful woman. Even into her mid 50's.
Hate it for her. I've had a couple of friends meet her and they say she couldn't of been nicer.
Hopefully she stays on at CNN in some capacity, she is an institution.
