Best thing for Sears is a bullet in the head.

They just sold the craftsman brand to raise money and still closing stores.

It’s sad what they’ve become. Used to be such a giant. Hell used to be able to order a freaking house from Sears.

This house on Lake Washington in Ms was a Sears Roebuck catalog ordered home from the early 1900s

There is still one in Fayettville Tn. It’s right across the road from the Shoneys.

I worked at Rax in High School. I loved that job. We had fun, ate free food and had plenty of parties and hook ups.

Big Boy still exists in the Midwest I believe.

If you are in the Smokey Mountains and drive through the park over to Cherokee NC there is still a Big Boy on the main strip.

There is actually a western auto in downtown Belzoni, ms still open.

The chain shut down and I think the guy bought the store from them and kept it open and just kept the name. It’s locally owned

Driving between a Sears and a Shoney’s is like walking into the valley of the shadow of death

Friend of mine grew up in a Sears house and it is still there on the corner of Jefferson Hwy and Brentwood. It had a basement and was shipped down the Mississippi River on a barge. Everything included, nails, paint, wallpaper, light fixtures everything. It’s a great, solid house.
