Received a bill in mail for toll fee of 80 cents from Florida

Why even bother? They add $2.50 for administrative fees, but they have to look up my out of state registration address, print the bill, stuff it in an envelop with a return envelop and pay postage. If I don’t pay it, I’m sure they will spend the same fees mailing a second notice. Are they going to identify my car and put out an all points alert and nab me the next time I go to visit Mickey Mouse? If they pull me over, I’m not putting on a mask.

Mail them a check for the $0.80 and skip the fee. Put “Paid in Full” on the check.

Had the same thing happen to me but they wanted $1.20 in unpaid tolls. Paid it because it gave me a good laugh for how ridiculous it is for spending $10 in order to collect $3.70.

Why would you drive on a toll road and not expect to pay a toll? I’m sure you are poor so use some of your stimulus money to pay the toll that you clearly owe.

This is what will happen if you don’t send that $3.30. It will increase with a $25 admin fee, then snowball as you fail to pay it. Then, they come get your vehicle.

I don’t mind paying, I just think it is comical and a waste of effort. They can’t possibly accomplish anything by going through the effort, except they killed a few extra trees with all the paper involved.
