I have sex for fun and without any emotional connection

But in no way could I be cool with my SO wanting to and being with someone else

Yes I am judgmental. I'm making a judgment that this idea is bad and they sick as human beings and parents if they intentionally enter into this abomination.

precisely. Like I said, the lines aren't so blurred

If your SO says they want this, it should be a red flag, and the chances are if you go through with it, they will despise you for agreeing to it.

Particularly women...no offense to you.

I agree with all this. It works for us but I've seen it destroy couples when one of them wasn't really into it.

This is all a little sad to me & should be a huge red flag for you. Prayers sent.

It is ridiculous that people come in here making blanket statements about a relationship being doomed which they have no knowledge about.

Would this situation doom some relationships? Absolutely. Hell, it may even doom most, but to tell this guy that his wife is trash and his relationship is doomed is about the most short sighted, closed-minded thing I've seen in a while.

Only allow your wife to lick the other girls butthole.

That's not really sex.

there are exceptions of course, but more often than not, way way more often, it fricks everything up beyond repair

Whatever works for them but it would be a huge issue for me.

Bests of luck perch.

As tempted as I am to offer an additional thought, I refrain. Don' t think anyone on the thread would appreciate the voice of experience

This is the first thought presented that makes me give thought to just stop with the OT. Post from all can be so off the wall & when someone post a request for an opinion, this response is so un-progmatic, it makes no sense.

Have to accept the fact that the OT is one big oxymoron or GTFO.

It's ridiculous to view sex and a conversation with a person at work on the same level.

Psychology disagrees with your view of sexuality.

Almost got an ex GF to do it but we broke up before anything happened. She told me her friends told her it'd work best if the other girl was a lesbian.

You have 3 possible outcomes

Do it, it's awesome, and everyone lives happily ever after.

Do it, it blows up in y'all's face and the marriage suffers and ends in divorce

Don't do it and now you know she wants pussy and is likely slipping out on you to get her jollies from Julie while you're home taking care of the kids and pulling your pud in the shower.

Good luck. Sounds like a tough decision

Didn't say you were. Just saying most shrinks, relationship counselors, and people in general would say it's abnormal to be completely cool with your spouse banging someone else.

Well, she asked him, so it sounds like she might be cool with it.
