It’s a sick case, and what he did to those children was horrible. I will say though that the wife was super obnoxious.

I didn't watch the Netflix thing, but I saw a YT video some time back covering that, including some bodycam video and interrogation footage of that Watts mfer.

ell, this is not popular, but yes, LOTS of women who are not satisfied at home sexually are fricking outside of the home. And yes, they want to keep their families together, but they also want someone frick their brains out too.

I firmly believe, if she isn't having orgasms with you, she is having orgasms with someone... if she is even mildly attractive.
There you have it

Women are not accountable for cheating

I don't think many men would be doing much fricking at all if there wasn't a nut got at the end....meanwhile most women do indeed do a lot of fricking where there ain't no nut in the end for them, at least according to every study ever done, women could be lying about lying but most likely they ain't...I know, I know, a real man makes them faint with pleasure everytime but most of that is probably due to them wanting to be done at any cost.....

In 1979 Hank Williams Jr. summed it up with the song “I like to have women I’ve never had”.

Turns out women like the same thing.

Both sexes need to consider “Is it worth it?” Is a few weeks or months of fun worth breaking up a family for?? I say No. While the short term will be a good time the long term consequences will be a lifetime of regret.

The wrong thing is always fun for a season.

Nothing justifies cheating; nothing. I don’t care what mental gymnastics you do to rationalize it in your mind.

Your post is further proof that some males are part of the problem when it comes to society not holding women accountable for their actions.

100%

Just another example of a male blaming men for the shitty actions of the woman.

I can damn near guarantee that the woman who wrote that article and the poster who wrote that post would not hold the same opinions of a man who cheated.

“If only she would have given him orgasms. If he hasn’t getting orgasms with her, he will get them somewhere else.”

But let’s talk about another practical move these women made: not putting all their eggs in one basket. Many women maintained multiple affair partners at once. Not because they were greedy, but because they’d already learned from marriage that relying on just one man for everything was a risky bet. So, they kept a “roster” or “herd” of partners to ensure they always had options

Thats a lot of words, They could have just said they were a whore.

Fact of the matter, you're wrong. It's damn near equal in the third decade of the twenty first century.

Are there people in here suggesting that women have a remotely similar sex drive to men?

On my phone and not combing through it again, but that is laughably absurd.

Are there some women with high sex drives? Yes. But they are extremely rare. . .especially if we exclude women with severe mental disorders causing them to overactively pursue sex.

Louis CK and Big Jay both have great bits about responding to a woman that says "I like sex like a guy likes sex", or I want sex like a guy wants sex".

both explain to her that they are sure she likes sex, but then shares anecdotes on the lengths they have gone through to bang a gross 2, just to get the nut off.

It looks like "her" research is she wrote a book, which you can take that with a grain of salt.

It's also worth noting that Psychology Today is like the tabloid of the psych world. It's a magazine the company puts out as part of your fee for advertising (their main platform is providing web space for psychiatrists/therapists to advertise their practice).

Doesn't mean they don't cheat for other reasons, though, right?

You would agree (I assume) that women are wired differently. I suggest you don't fully understand the degree of the differences.

they cheat for many reasons, just like men.

And all those reasons are disgusting and selfish. . .just like men

i have stated so, in a pretty long post in this very thread.

I grew up with 4 sisters and a Mom.

I have always said I may not be fluent in "woman" (no man is), but I am conversational.

ETA-Look through this thread and see how many people get defensive at the suggestion that women cheating is their fault.

Me: "Men cheating is selfish and disgusting, and should be shamed for destroying their families"

Unanimous: Exactly! frick that guy!

Me: "Women cheating is selfish and disgusting, and should be shamed for destroying their families"

Significant group ""But what did HE do/not do??? A real man would forgive her, if anything for the kids!!!"

It’s almost like we’re semi evolved primates sharing 99% of our DNA with chimpanzees with adrenaline glands that are too big and frontal lobes that are undersized, all trying to figure out why we can’t perfect things.

I mean, I don't see many getting upset of the notion that their cheating isn't their fault.

Anytime someone, male or female, makes the decision to step out on their partner because of something in their relationship that they aren't getting instead of addressing the issue instead they take on the culpability of their act. At the same time, someone cheating usually isn't an isolated incident of randomness. There's almost always other things going on in the marriage/relationship that lead them to believe cheating is a solution (when it's not).

What post and poster here is saying she should be forgiven? Could you link that?

We share a 98% of our DNA with pigs. . .and yet I can still say you are grossly overweight, and it is disgusting when you root around in your own feces.

The "we are just animals" argument falls apart the moment you account for self-awareness, abstract thought, and higher level reasoning.

"We are all just animals" is a brand of the biological determinism argument. We are all acting on instinct so nothing is ever our fault. . .bullshite cop out

again, same as above. . .plus the author.

He isn't meeting her needs, so she is justified in shattering the marriage
