Just doing my part to support a cause I think we can all stand firmly behind..

BATON ROUGE - The Milk Depot at Ochsner Medical Center says they are in need of mothers with surplus breast milk to donate.
With the nationwide commercial formula shortage, the milk bank at Ochsner Baptist has received calls from family members across the state requesting donor milk as a formula substitute for their newborn.

This formula shortage is making me sick. frick, take away my food if we can get formula for these babies.

We ended up with extra in a freezer once my kid weaned off.. Someone told us to look into selling it and there was a decent market for moms looking to buy, but there were also ALOT of guys looking to pay 4-5x more to do God knows what with it..

If you drive fast, you can make it to the border in less than 12 hours. The government is shipping it by the pallet for the illegals crossing in. If you habla español, you can probably get some and bring it back to give to US citizens.

I said this could happen and that actions might best be taken by those that can to help out those that can’t and got excoriated for it.

And they will. Thats what moms do.
My son was 6 weeks early. We tried breast feeding with a coach and all. It didn't work and he needed extra calories so was given neosure mixed with what milk I could pump. It was never enough so we always supplemented with formula. With his dairy allergy ad an infant we had to use Nutramigen. Expensive AF, but I'm seeing it sold out everywhere.
My heart is breaking for parent right now. Thank God my kid is 4 and not needing formula anymore.

If you little one has grown out of using formula and you have any left over that isn't expired....please consider donating that as well.
