Wow I was having s great day till this. The man was brilliant a fantastic performer. His stage presence was extraordinary . More important to music than Michael Jackson IMO. And Jackson was very great. PURPLE RAIN. One of the best CDs I ever burned was a mix of prince songs with some Isley brothers, and other artists . I got over 50 requests from people to make them a cd. The way I mixed artists and songs people really liked it. He was great......

Really sucks, one of my favorites. Wonder if we will ever hear any of the supposedly hundreds of unreleased songs/albums he has supposedly recorded over the years.
