The majority of lost jobs are low income in the hospitality, restaurant, and entertainment industry. Those jobs were directly impacted by our restrictions and don’t have anything to do with supply chains.

Anyone with a job in an important industry or one the involves global supply chains is already back at work and likely never stopped.

So the jobs impacted by the shutdown really weren't consequential at all? Yet the restrictions are the primary cause of economic issues?

Don't flatter yourself. Still waiting for a rational conversation. Going to keep going the juvenile route?

You're the one who keeps responding.

Watch, you'll do it again. You can't stop.

Yep, like a moth to a flame

It's okay, we all know you are incapable of anything of substance.

What isn't open right now because of government placed restrictions? Genuinely curious, as almost all of the restrictions have been lifted. The only ones I'm aware of are restaurant/bar capacity and hours of operation limits in certain cities. And I think I read LA and NYC were lifting those soon, if they haven't already.

Aren’t most big cities locked down?
Didnt the state of Oregon say they were locking down again?

For someone who seems so confident that opening things back up is the solution to all our problems, you sure seem short on actual details of what is actually closed down.

Stick to trolling the MSB.

Not at all. A lot still have mask mandates and restrictions on restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues, but most other businesses can operate fairly close to normal in most big cities.

And I looked up current state restrictions. California still has a lot in place, mostly on the aforementioned restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. They are going to be relaxed on June 15th if vaccination rates are satisfactory and hospitalization rates are low. New York just started relaxing theirs this week. Most others have relaxed their restrictions. I didn't read every state's though, so there may be a few I missed. Connecticut had some restrictions still in place.

The governor pinpointed a handful of counties that were experiencing an outbreak for tighter restrictions. Those restrictions end today, unless numbers haven't improved. Oregon's restrictions are being done on a county-by-county level, which arguably should have been adopted by every state. And most of their restrictions are capacity limits in restaurants, bars, and retail businesses.

You know what would probably help solve a lot of these issues?

People getting a job and getting that labor participation rate back up to where it should be.

When did I say they weren’t consequential. The point is restaurants, entertainment, and hospitality don’t rely on global supply chains. Their supply chain is warm bodies which was directly shutdown by restrictions.

Please tell me you aren’t this naive. Where do you live? Did you not see all of the restaurants and entertainment industry shut down? And have you not witnessed them having difficulty getting people back to work?
