Which is why I said it was a ridiculous statement.
We have zero information on the 16 year old, yet so many in here have said with such certainty that he is a thug or that he is destined to end up on a shirt.

Either the kid pulled a weapon or not. I doubt the LEO's went there on a killing mission.
Show the body cam footage, if not to the public at least in court.

Why are cops just allowed to raid houses when they aren't even sure the suspect was in there?
I think this opens the door for cops to hide behind when they frick up. Its just a slap on the wrist, tho someone's life was taken for no reason. Had they done real investigative work on that house, they would have known he wasn't there.
They can just announce themselves and raid any fricking house they want now? Bc they THINK someone might be in that house. and when they aren't there its just oh well some kid died. This leads to more WRONG homes getting raided, bc less due diligence is required before raiding a home.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t think it was wrong, and that the law is wrong. Early morning drug raids where there is no immediate threat to life should be illegal. It would prevent situations such as these.
Mobile’s Mayor agrees with me, which is why there has been a paused placed on all raids such as this one.
