Full-time tuition for one semester at:
-UT-Austin $5,724
-Texas A&M $6,049
-Baylor $25,869
-Tarleton $5,156
-Texas State $5,617
-Angelo State $4,505
The difference between Texas State and UT-Austin is $107 but it’s good to see you’re drawing the line somewhere.
Also odd that you’d consider spending so much for a theology degree from Baylor which certainly will not pay off. Only the select and charismatic few become megachurch pastors or televangelists, after all….

My point is that they’re all roughly the same price, so why draw a line in the sand when UT and A&M carry national cache (and even global, to an extent) for a practically negligible amount more. It’s taking a stand simply for the sake of taking a stand.

Is the acceptance rate roughly the same? Otherwise sure, go to the more highly rated school.

I’m sure it significantly lower for A&M and UT-A, but he was talking about schools he was willing to pay for, which makes no sense.

High schools should bring back boxing and when kids have beef, let them get it out of their system by putting on the gloves and get in the ring..

Aggie grads look after their own in the professional world like no other alumni, at least from my experience. My daughter and some of her friends refer to the school as a cult, and I tried to tell her “Fine, go there and you’ll get job interviews merely for having that ‘cult’ on your resume.”
ESPECIALLY with engineers.
So yeah, it does matter when you’re talking about A&M vs just about any other school in the country, not just vs Southeastern.
