An investigation into a possible serial killing is underway in Colorado after the remains of multiple people were discovered in the San Luis Valley.

An undisclosed number of bodies were found at two properties near Las Sauces, a tiny rural community near the New Mexico border in Conejos County.

The Denver Gazette, which was first to report on the case prior to the CBI release, said that investigators believe the bodies could belong to 'several people' who have been missing in Conejos County since August.

I understand they are referring to the number of missing people, but the way this was worded made me laugh. It would be more news worthy if somehow multiple bodies belonged to one missing individual.

If you’re a serial killer with all the surveillance around in 2020, you’re pretty skilled.

That whole article is worded poorly.

"Possible serial killing"... uh that'd be killings, buddy.

I think you'd be very surprised.

I think it’s still very possible in smaller rural areas, much harder in larger cities or suburbs.

That area is pretty desolate, even for Colorado. No telling how many bodies have been buried out there over the years. Absolutely beautiful though.

Since I grew up in Colorado I know the papers are The Gazette, which is in Colorado Springs, and the Denver Post. Unless things have changed recently with the papers in Colorado the writer of this article is clearly not very factual. Makes me wonder about the accuracy of the rest of the article.
