False. You are full of shite if you honestly believe a glass of Macallan 18 is no better than a glass of cheap scotch. Same goes for cognac, bourbon, tequila, etc.

2. Tacos- again, they’re okay but this whole meme of “I love tacos” is lost on me.
Quit going to taco bell and go to a truck for some real tacos

1. Shellfish. I mean, it’s not terrible but a good steak is preferable 10/10 times for me.
2. Tacos- again, they’re okay but this whole meme of “I love tacos” is lost on me.
3. Africa by Toto- I have gotten to the point where I’m convinced it has become “cool” to like this song even though it’s merely average. Just like it was “cool” for people to claim they’re neurotic or “ocd” about things.
4. “Good” wines- a lot of people seem to like wine because they’re told it’s superior, but there have been many taste tests where experts couldn’t distinguish between cheap and expensive wines consistently.
I disagree with and hate all of yours.

Oh no doubt. I love the nuance and matching flavors with the dishes I cook. I just think some people are bullshitting, and the snobbery some get about it is...pathetic.
It’s wine, it’s life, it’s love. We are meant to enjoy it, not scoff at someone for enjoying it wrong.
I totally agree and I buy good $25 bottles all the time. I love a good cheap red table wine with a rich flavor.
But there is a limit. The super cheap wines <$10 are almost always really, really bad. Some even taste like chemicals/plastic and have the texture of water.

Jazzfest- after they turned it into an overpriced rock n' roll has-been show for the fanny pack crowd.

Yeah, the disparity in good liquor is actually very apparent.
If someone tries to tell you Old Charter is as good Knob Creek, disavow them.

My list:
Hard french baguettes
New Years Eve (weddings are the exception, had a great NYE this year at a wedding)
Cruises
Disney
Shopping malls
Massive SUVs for no reason (no kids)
I'll add to this as I think of more.

This brings up a new question:
Which liquor has the least disparity between high quality and low quality?
-Vodka
-Tequila
-Bourbon/Whiskey
-Scotch
-Gin
I think it might be gin. I love good gin, but I can handle a Tanqueray if that's what is being served. Vodka is probably second, with Tito's blowing the lid off that industry.
Cheap tequila is undrinkable, that might be the worst.

Vodka. Easily
I would rather a Tanqueray on the rocks than an Aristocrat.
Really cheap vodka tastes just like rubbing alcohol.
