LODI, Calif. —
A family wants answers after they say officers from the Lodi Police Department tased and killed their dog on Tuesday afternoon after the dog accidentally got out.

Aline Galeno and her mother Anna Marquez were the owners of the 2-year-old husky named Enzo.

“We never put our hands on your dogs or anything. For that to be his last moments getting hurt, I just don’t think that’s right,” Galeno said.

Enzo ran about half a mile away from their home. KCRA 3 obtained video from multiple angles of the situation from surveillance cameras in the neighborhood.

In one video, you can see the dog standing before the officer fires his taser.

In another video, you can see Enzo bounce back up and is instantly tased again, with the officer continuing to hold down on the taser.

Enzo then begins to struggle as he’s dragged behind the animal services vehicle and eventually passed away

Police in the video claimed the dog was attacking kids in the neighborhood and that’s why they tased the dog.

Surprised they didn't blast the dog. That's what they usually do.

Yep, by the book.

Police kill the innocent and disenfranchised.

I call bullshite on a husky “attacking” kids that apparently have no injuries

Another fine example about how there’s a high percentage of cops that simply have a GED and a badge.

Yeah I’ve never heard of a Husky being aggressive towards kids at all. They’re one of the best dogs to have with kids. frick these cops.

I wonder how much of this is true. A year or so ago my neighbor's dog got out and ran up (tail wagging) to some kids playing in their yard. Before it even got within 10 yards of them the kids ran off screaming and the dog bolted back home. 5 minutes later my wife sends me a FB post from the kid's mom (a county, attention seeking single mom) that her kids had been attacked by a dog and the cops were on the way. Yeah, the dog shouldn't have been loose but it wasn't doing anything close to resembling attacking.

The cops showed up to my neighbor's house about 5 minutes later. I had to walk over and tell them what I'd seen. They said the lady was in hysterics when she'd called in and said the dog was trying to get in her house.

The woman in the video is saying the dog came up to them and was friendly. I don’t want to listen to it again for the exact wording because it’s awful.
No chance that husky attacked a kid

That is most likely the case here. Esp with the dog being a 2 year old husky. Prob was just trying to play.

Lord have mercy on the soul that harms my pup. I care more about him than most humans, including some family.

That's fricking terrible. That cop deserves to be beat with a bat.
