You are either intentionally avoiding all of the facts or just flat out ignorant. Assume the latter considering you are an AuBARN fan.

Did the police know warrants were out?

That was a very similar situation where the officer was hesitant to apply force and it cost him his life
White privilege. If it was a black man they would have shot him as soon as he stepped out
Someone had to do it

I don't know enough of the situation, but still unsure how you can know all the facts already.
I do wonder why they approached him with guns drawn like that.. was he reported to have been acting erratic?
Edit to add I found this
quote:
Shelby Was Responding to a Different Incident At about 7:36 p.m. Friday, dispatchers received a 911 call about an abandoned SUV in the middle of a street, with the driver's door open and the engine still running, Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan said Monday. The caller said a man was running from the vehicle, saying it was "going to blow." Shelby and another officer were on their way to a domestic violence call when she came across the SUV, Jordan said. On her way to that call, Shelby saw Crutcher standing in the middle of the road, looking down at the ground, Wood said, adding that she would have stopped and checked up on him had she not been on the other call. She then saw the SUV parked in the middle of the street, obstructing traffic in both directions, Wood said. The engine was running when she got there, which she found odd because she assumed it was either disabled or broken down, he said.
Oh well, I hope they figure it all out.
quote:
When Shelby approached the car, the doors were closed, and the windows were open, Wood said. She looked into the passenger's side to make sure no one was on the floor of the car, and as she was getting ready to move to the driver's side, she turned around and saw Crutcher walking toward her, Wood said. Wood said that Shelby then said to Crutcher, "Hey, is this your car?" Crutcher didn't respond, simply dropping his head while continuing to look at Shelby, "kind of under his brow," Wood said. Crutcher then began to put his hand into his left pocket, Wood said, adding that Shelby told Crutcher, "Hey, please keep your hands out of your pocket while you're talking to me. Let's deal with his car." Crutcher did not respond, Wood said, so Shelby ordered him again to get his hand out of his pocket. He then pulled his hand away and put his hands up in the air, even though he was not instructed to do so, which Shelby found strange, Wood said. Shelby tried to get Crutcher to talk to her, but he simply mumbled something unintelligible and stared at her, Wood said. He then turned and walked to the edge of the roadway and turned to look at her, his hands still in the air, Wood said. He put his hands down and started to reach into his pocket again, Wood said, and she ordered him again to get his hands out of his pocket. At this point, Shelby, a drug recognition expert, believed Crutcher was "on something," Wood said, possibly PCP. Shelby then radioed in that she had a subject "who is not following commands." "You can kind of hear a degree of stress in her voice when she says that," Wood said. Shelby then pulled out her gun and had Crutcher at gunpoint as she commanded him to get on his knees, Wood said. She pulled out a gun instead of a Taser because she thought he had a weapon, and she was planning to arrest him for being intoxicated in public and possibly obstructing the investigation, Wood said. Shelby ordered Crutcher to stop multiple times as Crutcher walked toward the SUV with his hands up, Wood said.

He parked his car in the middle of the street and was telling everyone it was about to blow up.

Who was murdered? Any links to that claim?

I posted this in another thread because I know there are people using the terroist lived and these black folks being gunned down. Thought I'd share my thought on that here too.

Everyone keeps bringing up the terrorist in NYC as a comparison and him walking out alive. There's a bit of a difference in training in ability between special forces/CIA/FBI going after a guy and wanting him alive and the training of Tammy Joe from bumfrick Oklahoma local sheriff's office that has her husband in the air encouraging her. It's complete different situations.

Undisputed facts:
This man was unarmed.
This man made no aggressive move towards the officers.
The male officer used less than lethal force.
The female officer used lethal force.
My opinion:
This female officer is guilty of murder.
Her irrational state of fear is not a defense for the 100% unjustified use of deadly force against an unarmed person.

Pathetic, just like all the boot lickers.

Thank God there are rational and intelligent people that will consider ALL of the facts, even those not included in the video to make a decision. It's what reasonable people without an agenda do.

Link? According to the cop his car was running when she pulled up. His car was blocking both lanes of traffic. She wasn't even responding to his call, she was responding to a domestic complaint when she came across a guy acting off with his car blocking two lanes of traffic so she stopped to help him. It was only after he was (according to her) acting as though he was high on something and not complying with her comands that she drew her gun and called for backup.

Terrible point.
No person should wield a weapon without the ability to determine the proper use thereof. Irrational fear of what a person MIGHT do is not a defense.
Without a weapon in hand (or close thereto), this is not a justifiable shoot.

And you are basing all of that off of what you saw from the video?

So not listening to commands and reaching in his vehicle is not aggressive or a threat?
A police officer drew his weapon on me for not having my hands visible during a stop.
You know what I did? I put my hands on the dash as commanded to demonstrate I wasn't a threat. After that everything was fine and I left with a warning. It really is that simple. Comply and all will be fine.

Nobody disagrees. It's going to come down to whether her fear was rational.

i would say it is. he could have been on bath salts and would have eaten her face.
people want to diminish the fact that this guy was acting nuts.
