I don't know what happened, but from that video it looks like the helicopter ran straight into the plane. Damn.

NGL, that Blackhawk even in VFR should have been able to see that CRJ.

I enjoy watching those I’ve probably seen everyone. It’s sad how many, if not all those crashes can be avoided

Have seen the crash video. The PSA RJ was on short final and the Blackhawk took off right into the RJ

I can’t tell if the helicopter ran into the plane from behind or if the plane ran into the helicopter from behind. The flyer from behind ran up on the flyer that was ahead very fast.
