Empty pedestal will be there for years and just an eyesore.

News said they have no plans to remove pedestal. So I guess it will just sit there for years until they are able to raise enough money to build a statue of a black guy to put on top.
I guess the city is full of eyesores, but this one they made themselves.

That is what I'm wondering.
After they removed the other 2 monuments, they just left the empty pedestals.
Looks so, so bad.

It's gonna be a statue of Arthur Ash swatting kids with a tennis racquet

Are there any pictures of the statue loaded on the trailer? Where did they take it?

I guess they should have been on Galvez street instead of surrounding a monument.

Three down, one to go.
Any idea when Lee's last stand will end?

You do know that a lot of money earmarked for the Levee Board was diverted to other causes, right? And then there was this storm that happened in 2005, resulting in the flooding of the city. You might remember that one, the name of the storm started with a K.
Well, if you're drinking the city water then I already know why you appear to be brain-dead.
It sounds as though you've never actually visited anywhere in the city. I guess you're not familiar with the streets there. Even in Uptown you will find streets that are more like cowpaths than an actual road.
How many more people would come to New Orleans if it were actually cleaned up?

Beauregard passed me on the interstate heading east at around St. Bernard Ave at 6 am.
I'm assuming there's some city warehouse in the east he's going to.

New Orleans reached capacity some time ago. We don't need more visitors. We need fewer visitors.

Front of City Park now looks like a rundown shithole blighted 9th ward slum.

Mitch cannot get out of office fast enough.
Him and his shill pieces of shite on th city council.
This might end up being a good thing. Maybe Mitch can mobilize people enough with hatred to actually clean up some of the city government

Amazing that Landrieu's Twitter is free of insults or even threats.

Tinfoil hat: mitch the bitch had tigerdroppings put down for several hours. Knowing the OT would track his wearabouts and plans for where the statue is going.
frick you mitch the bitch. I can't wait to piss on your grave

Maybe one of those confederate flag protesters will end the problem for us.
