If you want to express to the local metro council that you believe the Zoo should stay in north Baton Rouge, come to the council meeting today at 4. Location is city hall, 222 St. Louis Street.
After the recent flooding residents of south Baton Rouge should even oppose moving the Zoo into their neighborhoods. This is a BREC issue, but the council has the ability to help influence BREC to bring this issue to a vote of some sort and take our community from a state of limbo.
We can't keep complaining about the state of affairs in north Baton Rouge and keep stripping it of resources and investment.

Anyone willing to bet that her press release will include, at some point, the words "disappointed", "peaceful protests", and "give them space"?

You left out "conversation" and "discussion."

BRPD, Louisiana State Police, and host of others last summer came in and kicked arse and would not let protesters take over the streets. With new Mayor, do you think she will allow the same approach, does she have a say.

Serious question. I'm just wondering if SWB will have any say how it's handled this time around

She hates Dabadie, we know that. We also know a lot of those tickets for arrest got thrown out, but who cares, it worked to keep all hell from breaking loose.

She wont be mayor long if she dosnt allow the police to do their jobs. This is not fricking california, them coon asses will get rid of her ASAP.

Broome has no authority over EBRSO or the LSP.

Not sure how Gravy & his BLM friends can complain of any bias, as this investigation was handled by Obama & his personal DOJ Director Loretta Lynch. If THEY found no criminal intent, there wasn't any.

Kip handed the events of last year as well as any mayor could have possibly handled outside agitators, a media frenzy, and a terrorist shooting.

The stupid bitch in office now can't even keep scam artists off of her staff.
